Dedicated to to empowering students to discover their innate ability to succeed, BEACON has been a crucial resource to providing countless children from Kindergarten to 8th grade with enriching experiences that seek to inspire, educate and challenge.
After losing two major avenues of funding, we're proud to be holding this production as a fundraiser for the program that inspired us to push our comfort zones when we were in Middle School.
INFORMATION STRAIGHT FROM BROADWAY
Wait in the Wings is dedicated to sharing stories of theater history in the most factual, and accurate way. To help achieve this, we have interviewed a few members of the original Broadway cast of Seussical to guarantee this is the most accurate retelling of this show's history.
Eddie Korbich
Eddie Korbich originally played The Onceler in Seussical. Korbich's Broadway credits include roles in The Drowsy Chaperone (2006), Wicked (2003), and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder (2013).
Kevin Chamberlin
Kevin Chamberlin originally played the role of Horton the Elephant in Seussical, a role for which he was nominated for at the 2001 Tony Awards. Chamberlin's Broadway credits include My Favorite Year (1992), The Addams Family (2010), and his role as Bertram in the Disney Channel series Jessie.
