SLIPPING
A PLAY BY DANIEL TALBOTT
Eli's life is turned upside down as he moves across the country to Iowa with his mom, who insists it will be a new start for him--a new life away from his ex-boyfriend and a chance to make new friends. Fitting in proves difficult, though and Eli has trouble learning to open up again.

UNSUPPORTED.
In 2016, Utah State University acting student Brendon Henderson decided to challenge himself by finding a way to put on Slipping by Daniel Talbott. On a mission to cast his fellow students who weren't cast in the school's main season, he assembled a group of dedicated students to spend countless late nights rehearsing. The challenging material was deemed too risque by the school, so the Restless Observers were left to their own devices to produce it. They raised enough money on Indiegogo for the play rights and a handful of costumes and props, all thanks to the community of theater-lovers in Logan, Utah.
RE-IMAGINED.
With no set and no crew, the Restless Observers had to get creative to make the show a reality. They used the Black Box rehearsal furniture to build their sets and directed each other as a collaborative effort. The minimalist approach ended up paying off, offering audiences a raw, intimate and stripped-back experience unlike anything they've experienced before.
